Offline | Hong Kong Mini meet 1st Feb Looks like everyone should be OK for 1st Feb. Can I propose this date for the meet? I suggest we gather at the front of Kowloon Bay World Trade International Building at 9am. I'll check out if there is any place for breakfast on that day. yclee |

Offline | none of my business cos i dont live in HK, but it's interesting to see how the Chinese New Year traditions of waking up and getting ready for the new year, all dressed up and go 'Bai Leen' with relatives, have changed into get together with friends driving the same car... it used to be none of the restuarants except those in hotels are open on "leen Cho Yat (1st of the month", but i am sure it has changed. happy new year! |

Offline | No, we still have difficulties in finding a right place for a good breakfast on the first day of Chinese New Year! And that is a big dis-couraging factor for this event yclee |

Offline | surely an open McDonald's shouldn't be too hard to find food or no food, it will be good to get together for a short drive and meeting + photoshooting nonetheless. As mentioned before, weekend of 25/1 are still open dates for me. So if anyone decides that the CNY (1/2) date is a definite no then we can meet on the other weekend. Of course, it will take a group effort to make this meet possible, so please do come! Karman |

Offline | Manho, will you be attending this event? I don't drive MINI in HK so it will be difficult to blend in if I drive a sedan. Please let me know so I can get in touch with you and perhaps will go together. Regards, Karman |

Offline | To Karman, I'm sorry that I'm not sure if I can join the meeting of Mini fan club this Saturday. Will let you know later. Do you know Edmund (edmyeung)? I think he may join probably because he is member of the club. To ada_ada, Welcom to the online big family of Mini owners. Yes, it's me. Nice to see you here. I saw your car ocassionally when I walked my big yellow dog up and down the hill. Nice colour combination. Regards, MH |

Offline | YC, Lucky man! you are in Paris! Sorry, I won't be able to join the coming meeting as I will be in Australia. By the way, I bought the K&N filter the other day, just as you said the car feels much smoother. Alan |

Offline | Ok guys, I am back in town. Visited Tokyo for a couple of days prior to my arrival to HKG, there were many classic Minis roaming about there but no new MINIS to be seen on the city streets (except for an IB/White one on a truck carrier being transported to a lucky owner) Hopefully we will come to a quick decision to see who's interested to meet for this coming weekend or the next. Looking forward to meeting you all. Karman |

Offline | YC and Karman, Welcom back in town! How about the trip to Paris? Just forget to ask you to get me some LVs. I regret that I didn't do so when I spent a whole week in Paris last September. I worry about those Minis in Paris because of the bumper to bumper parking practice. I witnessed drivers just bumping forward or backward to squeeze their cars in or get away from the line. God bless them.Back to the topic. This Saturday is fine for me. If the majority think February 1, which is uncertain to me, is better, subject to time and venue, I will try my best. MH |

Offline | Where are you guys? Derrick, Edmund, Eugene, Wayne, Alan and Ada, It's time to show up. If all of you attend the next meet, only 3 colours, electric blue, pure silver and racing green, are yet to be liaised. Of course, new comers with other colours are also welcomed. MH |

Offline | Why don't we have a meet on 25/1 first and then decide if we meet again on 1/2 Is Kowloon Bay (just outside World Trade Building) a good place? yclee Silk Green Black Top MC CVT |
