| MINI2 Master / Moderator | I'm sorry to ask a off topic question. So how's the SARS in HK now? Does the virus affect any local MINI event? I wish everybody good luck and stay healthy. ![]() |

| MINI2 Regular | anickboy, I just rec'd an email from Douglas Chow at BMW. He said my MCS will arrive ETA in Hong Kong 18.04.03. He also give me the VIN/Chassis # and the name of the vessel. If the informations he gave me are real, then i'll be a happy man in two weeks. Why dont you contact Douglas instead of your saleman. I think Douglas can help you out. Do you have his email? Offline | PS: JCW conversion for MCS is available in HK (according to Douglas Chau)just waiting for price! Suggesting installing it 6 months after getting your new car to avoid the dreaded tax (aka Antony Leung's charity service!) Offline | Dear all, We are getting very close to 13/4 for our gathering. But in view of the current situation, big social gathering may or should be avoided. I am proposing a delay of the gathering for another 2 weeks. Your opinions, please!! Go or no go??? yclee Silk Green Black Top MC CVT |

Offline | Dear Yc, I don't think we should delay the gathering although, unfortunately, more and more people are getting the virus this day. I think everybody should realize that the virus won't be disappear in an short period of time. However, the most important thing is each of us should more concentrate on personal health. Also, this gathering is a good opportunity for us to go to countryside to breathe much fresh air instead of staying at home. Last weekend, I had morning drive with my friends and then had breakfast with miniclub in Luk Keng. Some of the club members brought their whole families to join us. In the same morning, I saw lots of Supercars (Ferrari, Porsche, etc) and Superbikes in Luk Keng too. Therefore, Yc, please don't worry! However, I suggest we may slighty change the place we planned and go to somewhere outdoor instead. Maybe we can go to Luk Keng this time too, do you agree? How about rest of you guys? Any other suggestions? See you guys on 13/4! Edmund CR/W Cooper |

Offline | Derrick and Edmund and others, I don't have any problem with that and I personally will join if we still go ahead with the event. But since I start this thread, I should be responsible to bring this up for discussion and see how everyone think about it. Let me propose this, let's still have the event unchanged but instead of having breakfast in Little Egret, let's have it at an open area (either Tai Mei Tuk or any other place and we will decide when we meet at the second gathering point). For those who still want some social event, you are welcome to join. For those who decide to have less social event, it is perfectly OK and there is always a next one to enjoy. I hope this arrangement will make everyone happy. Or if anyone got some better idea, you are welcome to bring it up. yclee Silk Green Black Top MC CVT |
