Folks,
Just to let everyone know the next HK new Mini meet will be on 13th April. There will be 2 gathering places.

The first gathering is on 9:00am at Kowloon Kai Tak airport (just at the entrance of the Bowling center).

The second gathering is for folks living in New Territories. It will be 10am at the usual car gathering place along Taipo Road just before Chinese University.

We hope to get to ¤p¥ÕÆO (Little egret restaurant), just right next to º°Àܤs by about 10:30am. Have breakfast there and then decide what route next.

Come and join us!

Hi, KJ. We did take pictures for previous meets. We didn't save it in the gallery and was too lazy to collect them together. (Will do that someday!) But those pictures are just scattered in previous threads and you can find them there.
Maybe you are in HK one day and participate in one of our meets.

KJ, we're on the same boat. i wish i was in HK too. would really enjoy the twisties there. i'll probably come back to HK for a visit in november. maybe i can come to one of the meets you guys have. but of course, i won't be able to drive my MINI there. would still love to meet fellow MINI owners in HK though.

I will go anywhere but Tai Mei Tuk and Luk Keng after the breakfast because there will serious traffic jam and no parking space beyond 1000 on public holiday. I got caught yeaterday at about 1300. Any other idea?

Hi guys
It's been really long time haven't talk to you guys since X'mas. I'm still waiting for my MSC!!
As my salesman promise that I can hv my MCS by the end of April, however was told today my MCS is already manufactured in UK, but he can't find my order no. in the 20th April shipment!!
I'm worried will my salesman let someone who is behind my order take mine instead!!....
Did you guys had experience in this case?
My order is from last August, which is seven months from now.......I'm starting to lose my patient, thinking of give up on the wait. .....especially read all the news from you all lucky guys here, It's make me more upset!!
I wish I could join you guys as soon as my new MCS come.....God bless me!!

Be patient, anickboy. I wait 14 months for my Cooper. And even the very early MCS owners wait another 6 months before they got their MCS. So 7 months is not much. Just be patient, you will get it. It's worth the wait, that's all I can tell you.

I waited longer than you - 10 months in total!! But it's worth the wait........the MCS is really fun car.....especially around corners!!

Come on, seems silly to give up after 7 months......you waited this long already.

Come out on th 13th and we'll show you it's worth the wait!

I agreed with simonMCS.
Just had a second oil change at 7000km. Now everything is settling in and the car is running really smooth. Now everyday I have to make up a reason to drive it.

Same case here. placed my order Sept 02. Saleman said Feb 03 production, but can't find the production number for my S. Can't wait til joining the morning drive!

EB/W with white rims.. nice combo. If they have a EB/W instock at BMW, then should really talk to your saleman right away. Dont miss out man.

Talked to my saleman yesterday. He said my Blk/Blk S should be on the boat arriving end of April. Keep my fingers crossed.

I just talked to my salesman today, he told that EB/W is a second hand car, half an year old.....he still checking will my MCS arrive in April for me.....but I don't it will make it by this April...

Yeap.. All black. I've just send an email to the Sale manager Douglas Chow at BMW, requesting more information on my MCS delivery. Hope to hear some good news from him.

BTW, Does anyone knows whats the percentage of window tinting allow in HK? Also, which shop its better for modification on MCS? TW Motorsport or BMWorks?

I thought they stop tints completely in HK? I could be wrong, just what some1 told me???
