Offline | Karma S: hv u done some course in NYC??? how are they structured?? here in Oz: they do it in stages. first the teach u the basics re sitting position (yes!), emergency braking, wet/threshold braking. then second stage is stuff like quick shifting, heel-toeing, oversteer vs under-steer control. the third and fun stage is skid plate fun, track driving- racing lines, trail braking etc... definitely recommended for any drivers (who think they are good drivers). since u dont know how crap u drive until u sit in a car driven by a pro. (better still, he drives ur car!) |

Offline | disdis, there are a couple of tracks in the area namely Lime Rock Park and Pocono Raceway. Unfortunately, living in New York City does not afford me the luxury of owning a car so I am only limited to doing go-kart sessions every now and then which is also a good way to learn about driving dynamics. I do have the desire to join some driving schools in the near future to learn more. I am jealous of people who can take their car to the track, it's definitely a very good thing to take advantage of if you have the resources. Please share your experiences on the track with your MCS after the sessions. Drive safely! ![]() /karman |

Offline | derrick: whats wrong with the EBC pads?? i cannot find a store selling Ferodo pads here.... i got the stereo stuff from mikethemini guy. he's from Liverpool London and is an active member in this website. search for this name and u can email or PM him to ask for details. he ships to Hong Kong at a reasonable price and the quality of goods is very good. he's also a nice guy as well.. u will probably need the following: -mounting template - antenna adaptor +/- wiring harness (makes it easier to install). the first two is a must! but confirm with him first. keep checking this thread as i will put more nice photo of my MCS later. just when for a country run with my friend of Clio 172. there was really nothing separating us in terms of speed. took many pics as well! ![]() |
