There are 2 things we should discuss in the coming meet. First is on how we should form the New Mini Club for HK. Second is the possibility of using Walkie Talkies in our drives during the meet. The late 'Car & Driver' review the Motorola walkie talkie with 0.5W (or 500mW to make it sound bigger

). Since it is now legal to use them, may be we should consider to set up a channel during our drives so that we have better communication and won't lose each other in between traffic lights.
Ideas please...

I just brought the walkie, and used for two weeks, I use them in shopping mall, driving to Sek O and Bicycle in Tai Po, no problem for communication. I just use the cheaper one from Motorola. It is good enough for us, but it is a little bit mess when driving with manual transmission.

Isn't it come with a earphone and mic similar to the mobile phone for a hands free operation?

It is option, and it is totally handfree, but it use the first word that you say to open the line for communication.Does not 100% like the mobile phone handfree.
