Just visited BMW at MaTouWai this afternoon to check out my "just arrived" MCS, and surprisingly found a EB/W JCW MCS getting ready for delivery. Wondering if this JCW is for promotion or waiting for his lucky owner?

Adam,

The sale rep didn't have the price for the JCW kit yet, but i told him to contact me when the price is availible. Also, he mentioned this EB was arrived with the JCW kit, it was not installed in Hong Kong. Lastly, he suggested to install the kit after 6 months of registration, so that the kit will be tax free!

Dear All,
According to a insider in BMW, the EB MCS Works is the one and only one S Works in HK, and the kit is installed in HK.
Meanwhile, the S Works will officially appear in the new showroom, maybe, in mid-May. Price is not confirmed.

HK$45,000 (HK$37,500 parts + HK$7,500 labour).
Attention, tax is excluded for 6-months aged MCS.
Who want to be the first S Works owner?

Anyhow, 45k for additional 35 hp.... humm, thats about $1200/hp, might need to think twice before doing it man!

Was in the new Mini showroom in Kowloon today finalizing my paper work. There it was right smack in the showroom the JCW Cooper S = Finalized price HKD 43,000 - labour included. Kind expensive for 35 HP and a 1 year warranty. Might as well wait until my warranty wears out and install a Hartge Kit.

Anyone in H.K. supplying this ?.

Plus my salesman tried to sell me a the upgraded Mini sound system - ( Soudl module i think..) cost HKD 8000.00 ... Er no thanks.....
