Offline | Glove Compartment Box I've check with BMW HK in regards to glove box - cost is HKD 2000.00 Labour included. But can't install it until 6 months later or it will cost more. Also check BMworks - advertised for HKD 1300 + 600 Labour = HKD 1900. Advise from installing it myself has anyone found a cheaper place get one? Thanks. |

Offline | Have search most of the dealers but none seems to sell the glovebox over the net. Let me/us know if you find anything. I think the light is just an extra component which connection is already provided in the dash. check the DIY. |

Offline | I still find it funny - we pay for a HK 230,000 car enough to buy used Porsche and no glove compartment box... The worst thing is I just found out last week. I get my car this week. Oh well..... |

Offline | i think what sucks in here is that this is a GBP50 option in the UK and we cant get it. Same thing with the sport seats. Since I m getting (taking delivery this week) a pretty "interesting" color combo, have to wait for the full three months for it to be built. However, when asked about whether i can put the sport seats in, answer was NO. Why not? my car was sort of custom built already... Mini is supposed to be a car which you can customize if you are willing to pay, like the porsches. Just look at the nicely printed brochure, there are all kinds of options which we cant have!! I think the BMWHK has ruined it all. Not to mention that their service is not the best of the world, couple of days before delivery and they called up on problems with my trade-in car and insurance….. enough rumbling..... just want to get this through and drive my new car. Btw, do you know the insurance for a MC is more expensive than a 96 Porsche… ask me how I know. |
