I think Vincent Motors Cars - had 2 CVT - but that was a month ago. You could check in the South China Morning Post. They usually have an add in the paper.

just out of curiousity, why a 03 MC auto asking $218k while the dealer in HK (i.e BMW) just sell less than $200K

I don't think the queue is long for a MC/AT. Maybe 1-2 months but if you don't care the color, you probably get it even quicker too.
For secondhands, you really have to try your luck.
And for non-MC/AT drivers, you probably don't know there is a thing called 'wife factor' when you decide on the car.

Fully understand YC, normally they would ask for an MC/AT. At the end, the chance of her driving the MC is once over 5 years. Wild guess.

My case is better. My wife stopped me from buying a manual MC because my beloved Alfa Romeo 75 Twinspark scared her a lot. At present, she drives her (not my) MC CVT once a month.

I just called the guy w/ the silver cooper. He says he's willing to negotiate the price. What do you guys think is reasonable? The specs are as follows...

103,000km its awfully too high for a 02' car. Do you mean 13000 km? Did you see the actual car in person?

Have you contact MINI hong kong to see if they have any CVT available for sale?

Whoops...yeah that was a typo. I meant 13,000 km. I did call the showrooms but they said that they didn't have anything available, new or used. Really want to get the car in time for summer so can't wait for their next delivery of new cars in July/August.

You see Mini did keep its value very good in 2002. The brand new 2002 MC/CVT is 177K and you only spend a few thousand dollars to drive it for a year!

Hi Carol,

Be patient. I think there is only a short period of time for waiting for any new MC/MCS. The quoted price can nearly afford for a brand new one. Don't u know that I had been waiting for more than 20 months for getting my MCS. Besides, the best timing for running the MC/MCS should be during the autumn period. Suggested u to taking deep consideration about this transaction.
