Offline | Gas mileage in Hong KOng What kind of gas mileage are you guys getting in the MC/MCS? My MC CVT only averages ~6km/L, ie ~250-260km/tank, kinda suck, worst than my other car which has a 3.6L engine. Just wonder whether this is because I m still breaking in (just done 1000km) or is there something wrong with my car. |

| MINI2 Regular | 260 a tank? really? Something has gotta be wrong! With the Supercharger in my MCS, I'm getting atleast 340-350 a tank with 1600km on the clock. I think you should bring back to BMW to check it out! I think MC and MCS share the same tank size (50L)! Offline | u2silly, I've got somewhere around 290- 320Km per tank. Got 1100KMs so far. But the MC should be much better than the MCS on mileage. Curious are u filling the tank everytime the lights go on?. |

Offline | Thanks guys, that's really helpful. Yeah, I usually go stright to the gas station shortly after the red light. Like last night, I put in 40L, that works out to be ~6km/L kinda low. Will try for another couple of tanks, if noting improves, it is gonna go back to the shop. |

| Mini2 Fan | Re: Gas mileage in Hong KOng Hi U2silly, My MCS is around 5400km. My average is around 400-420km per full tank for running on high way and around 350-380km for daily running. Can anyone correct me that I always think the consumption of fuel for a powerful engine used at the same model and weight of a car is more efficient. Thanks in advance. Herman |

Offline | My mileage of 350km-360km per tank may be a bit low as most of the time we have 2 people in the car. So you may get up to 400km if you are the only one in the car. YCLee Silk Green Black Top MC CVT |

Offline | ________________ 350-360 km on one tankful? What is the size of the MINI gasoline (er, petrol) tank in HK? Here in the States it's 11.2 gals, and I can get almost 390 MILES (624 km) on a full tank. But then, in HK you have mostly stop and go driving, except in the NT. |

Offline | _________________ That works out to 13.2 gals. I was wrong when I said 11.2 gals. What I meant is that when my red light goes on, after about 11.2 gals. of gasoline is used, there are 2 gals. remaining. |
