Guys,

Can't join you for the great exercise as church on Sunday. Anyway, have a good time there with your mini!

By copy Manho, how's your new CVT now?

Alan,

Thanks for your concern. I tested it a little bit last night, from 1k rpm to 6k rpm with D mode. It seemed that the new CVT gearbox runs smoothly. I will try the SD and steptronic tonight. Will keep you guys updated.

It's hard to predict but I guess it will become fine by Sunday, based on weather forecast.

I think there will be some showers on some areas. I will say the green light is still on unless the weather get worse tonight.

BTW, the meeting is changed from Car Park to Gold Coast Mcdonald. C U.

Hi Guys,

Just to remind you to bring some spare clothes for exchange. I presume with such a hot weather, you will certainly sweat from head to toe. I will bring along a PS2 in case some body need to take a break and relax.

Nelson,

Thanks for your warm hospitality. We've had a good time this morning notwithstanding the hot weather.

Guys,
That was lots of fun yesterday. And I have to apologize that I took the shade and became the only one that did the waxing. But after months without proper cleaning, my SG/B babe definitely needs a good clean up!
Thanks to Nelson for the fantastic place and Manho for the Zaino wax (my car surely looks different after waxing, I should take some before/after shoots of it!)
I appreciate it a lot. And next time, it will be my place at Saikung for the second wash and wax DIY! Though the place will never be as good as Nelson's! But we can have some sea bathing afterwards!

Hi guys,

You are welcome. I hope you enjoy the car wash. Next time it is better to start in the afternoon. Or we will see a bunch of Lobsters in our MINIs.

It's almost 1 week after waxing, though I didn't drive much afterwards, I can give a preliminary report on it.
Unfortunately we didn't well planned it and cannot make it a very scientific report, e.g. no photos before waxing (besides, I don't want people to see how ugly my is before waxing!)
One major difference when comparing to the Carnauba wax is the smoothness when you touch the car. It makes no squeak sound and it's silk smooth. This should make washing much easier afterwards. The appearance is definitely good, though I didn't give Z2 enough time to dry and only 1 coat is applied. But Carnauba based wax will give similar look immediately after wax.
I think the major difference that I will appreciate is on how easy it is to apply Zaino and easier maintenance afterwards. I have a feeling that it will last longer, which I will report again in the next few weeks.
But given my can of Carnauba wax is about to finish, I am about to order the Zaino. Thanks to ar75 for introducing a great product to me!

YC,

Sorry for my late reply. It's a long story. I placed the order through Zaino's website directly at first. However, they referred me to its Asian dealer in Singapore. Given the higher price they quoted and their lousy service, I turned to Zaino USA again. The merchandise was sent to my wife's collegue in the States and my wife collected the items when she paid a business trip to the USA later on. The whole set costed me US$100, including delivery charge.

There is no package for Zaino products. I just pick the item I want. I know an all in one product called ZFX is available now. You may check at its website. As for group buy, approxiamtely 20% discount is offered if you order 12 pieces of each item.
