I was told by the salesman that this option only comes with the in-car phone system or the Sat Nav. Is that true? Can I get the antenna separately?

The reason I'm asking here is because specs and options differ my country. I remember seeing a few Minis with this antenna driving around, but I believe not many people here would tick the car phone or sat nav option.

It's a aftermarket add on. - nothing to do with the sat nav

Where can I get the sharkfin antenna and how much would it cost? My car cover does not like the standard antenna! (My Porsche 928S4 also suffered the same problem)
