Details for the BBQ
Meeting Date/Time: 29 November 2003 (Sat)/15:30 (3:30pm)
Meeting Place: Kowloon Convention Center

Where to go: 海灣燒烤大王 in Sai Kung for BBQ

What to do: Barbecue (a metal frame on which meat, fish or vegetables are cooked outside over a fire, or a meal prepared using such a frame which is eaten outside, often during a party) and Chat over MINI, things with 4 wheels.

Fee: HK$98 per person (includes all you can eat BBQ, drinks will be extra)

How to pay: Prepayment is not necessary, you can pay on site.

Reservation: It is not required.

What to bring: Your MINI, Walkie Talkie and Camera (maybe)

What's so special about it: BBQ will only be held once or twice a year. This should be special enough.

What if weather is unstable??—We will announce in MINI2 and email to members if the event is cancelled.

Non-Member: You are welcome to join. Please kindly obey traffic rules and avoid dangerous driving act during the Parade to the BBQ place.

Wow, with a viewing count of 60, I presume there will be a lot showing up on Saturday. Let's hope for good weather tomorrow and with the chilling coming in, it should be fun for BBQ.

To members: Please note the BBQ place is confirmed to be in "海灣燒烤大王". If member cannot meet in Kowloon Convention Center at 3:30pm, please go to the place directly at 5pm.

FYI, 海灣燒烤大王 is located at old 海灣酒店. After you drive pass Sai Kung City (from Kowloon), it is on your right after around 1 min drive. If you are coming from Shatin, it will be on your left. We will all park our MINIs in public car park located in Sai Kung Pier. And go there on foot. See you there.

Hi Nelson,

May I draw your attention, on Nov 29, we may not have enought parking space for all our MINIS in Sai Kung Pier, specially on Sat.

For parking in Sai Kung Pier, it should be on the roof level instead of ground level as that was for the golfers and it is much expensive if you are not going to the golf course.
In case that car park is all full (quite likely), some of us may need to park in the multi-storey car park near the "Paint Factory" which is just after the Esso station. Let's see what happens on Saturday first.
