Nanster updates

as i promised before, I am posting my new laser shifter pictures.
After i got my $400 dollars tickets, i made up my mind on a passport ZR3.
It has two sensor in the front and on in the back located on top of the plate holder.

I have been testing it in the past month, i have not seen many laser cops around!(almost impossible in town) dont know why. maybe they know i have bought a ZR3(yeah right!)

I met laser three times it have giving fair singnal sompare with my V1(in the same time) of course V1 will not shift the laser.

I have been working hard on Nanster lately. Due to we had great weather in May and there are a lot of good deals on MINI parts, so a lot of work was done in a very short period of time. Finally it had came to an end.
Ohh.here are the new gears Nanster has got on in the month of May.
May1st New BMP Pulley(15% the safe size i guess)
May 13 ZR3.
May 16 Dynamat( the best thing after the pulley, but too much trouble to install myself)
I have to took the whole door panel off.
May 21 Boot stripes was put on.(cheap mod for $45 from MINIstripes.com)
May 25 New Ebrake handel brushed and chrome. (got a discount on it for $38)
May 26 CooperS letter was moved into the dahboard. (15minutes back tape work)

For those of you wants to get some of those it is not too late before they gone!
Here is the picture of ZR3 as promised!

I have also add new links to my Mods picutres albumn.

Hmm...why do you need a jammer in front when you don't even have the front license plate?

Very simple

Sorry if i confused you!
The cops will not care if you have a front license or not.
they will target you with laser whenever they think you are speeding.

the jammer is for the laser gun. not for the lisence plate

most radar are warning friendly. you can get a V1 and smell it from mile away.

But remember, the technology has improved much faster than most of us could think.

Laser technology has replacing all radars for a long time. radar detector reports the same time that laser reports. which means your detector can only tell you that you have got caught!(how i got my very first ticket in my driving life)

A defuser or shifter is leagl in most states in US, since they only shift or defuse the laser beam. But Jammer is almost illegal in everywhere. Jammer actually sends faulse singnal and block the laser beam, which involve a communication violation in most area.

Defuser or shifter can block the laser for a short 5 to 8 seconds(in most case) for you to have enough time to slow down. Jammer will totally jam the laser beam, which also part of the reason it is illegal.

I have done a lot of research on those topics, but one thing always keep in mind, nothing is perfect and you are not god and never be god no matter what tech gadgets you have gotten in your car. Use wisely!
