I just put a Parrot 3100 kit in my '04 MCS. I have an H/K stereo with an ICE>Link Plus.

First, let me give huge Kudos to Mikey at NewMiniStuff. His harness is great, the install was a breeze.

Unfortunately, I am getting dreadful sound quality. It's ok when I'm stationary, but as soon as the car is moving the sound is awaful to the point that I am unintelligable to my listeners (they sill sounds great to me).

Does anyone have any suggestions for a replacement mic that might make this better?

The mic is just to the left (driver's side) of the fake grille behind the front light cluster in the headliner. It is pointing down at the driver's face.

I tried that this morning. Same thing. Tons of background noise, it's almost as if the noise reduction DSP isn't working.
