Aftermarket seats with Airbag Light

Hey guys,

im thinking about fitting these bride bucket seats in my car, i purchased a set of universal rails which look like they are identical to the mcs ones.

i was wondering what happens with the airbag sensor etc.. i removed it, however the airbag light came up. will i be able to use these seats and have airbags working?

how do i remove the airbag light without taking it to bmw?

Nos-ing it all the way home...

You local friendly dealer can disable monitoring the seat airbags - need stat dec about no seat airbags.

Alternatively, on either NAM or Webbmotorsport, there's an article about using a resistor to mimic the seat airbag.

Good luck
