DIY NEW - Micro Go - Speed camera detector

Just arrived into stock the worlds smallest plug & go speed camera detector, the Micro Go.
Fitted 2 today
It is a GPS camera detector detector which detects all fixed cameras inc specs digital ones, it does not have a laser detector for mobile traps but one will be released in the new year.
The GPS antena is built in, it has a windscreen sucker & the unit just plugs into the cig lighter. (We have power take off kits available which have a hideaway cig socket for a super neat install)
The database is updated over the internet & 6 months updates are included. After that it is £50 per year.
The display has 64 colour options - so you can set it to match the Mini interior. (An alternative alarm colour can be selected)
It shows a GPS speedo in normal use then when you approach a camera it tells you the speed limit, your speed & what type of camera. A voice will also tell you the limit.

The is also an optional user selecable over speed warning which activates when you exceed a personal speed.
The database includes congestion charge warnings.
Price: £199 inc vat
In stock & Xmas delivery available using special delivery here;
www.newministuff.com
I have modified mine to fit onto our no holes rev counter mount see pics

Note; this unit is not as small as the micro roadpilot which has a seperate GPS aerial.

Customer unit - rev counter mounted - modified mount

Mine again

Window mounted with uncluded sucker

It works fine window mounted with heated front screens - but not rev counter mount with heated front screen. External antena connection is available for this

Really nice install - very unobstrusive and the silver finish works well. Only met one camera so far - certainly knew it was there

It looks like a nice unit, I think I'm going to get a sample to have a play with. I have a Fuzion and a Talex at the moment and don't like the displays much and they're difficult to cycle through menus on without a visual indicator.

The older - micro roadpilot is much smaller so neater as the GPS is seperate
BUT
The micro go gains variable colour screen & voice warnings & we have got it at £190 at the moment.
Database is the same on both, but you can't have laser on the go at the moment (it will be illegal soon anyway)

I have been running one since before xmas & am very happy with it

Mikey fitted mine just before Xmas and I'm well pleased with it too (customer car pic above).

Being able to vary the backlight so you can have the same orange as the rest of the instruments is a plus - it fits in really neatly and isn't obtrusive - well, until a camera that is, when it flashes blue and bleeps and shouts at you to SLOW down!!!!

Yes, loads! That's why i would be such a good investment.

And even further, we JUST recently got an all new system here in the DK. If you exceede the speedlimit by 30%, you will get a so called "clip" in your Driverslicence. Two of thoose for a newcommer like me, and my driverslicence is history. 3 for try's for a driver, who has driven for more than 3 years though.
There are also loads of other rules, which also causes the clip action.

Anyway, this i why i would be just great to have - if it works in Denmark that is?
Are you sure is does Mikey?
