DIY NEW Bluetooth kit for Minis with phone buttons on MFSW - plug & play - EVO

We now have in stock the new Parrot EVO bluetooth hands free kit with our plug & play interface for Minis with the phone buttons on the 3 spoke MFSW.
There is no cutting or spicing, it plugs in behind the radio, 2 boxes to hide, fit the microphone & thats it.
You get answer/end, redial, voice dial & volume control from the steering wheel
https://www.newministuff.com/new/sho...uctshow&id=256
The supplied parrot controller must be connected & used for initial setup but can be hidden away.

We have versions for Wave, Boost, HK & aftermarket stereos

If fitting to a car with icelink plus - text display must not be used on the icelink

Two questions... To follow up on Rakey's Q, does this allow caller ID on the HUD (I assume that's why the text from icelink isn't supported)?

Also, is it possible to splice the wires to have both the icelink text and this kit going at the same time?

Cheers and Merry Xmas!

This looks very promising, since my next phone in the spring will have Bluetooth.

And it's about 1/3 of the cost of the BMW version!

Any pictures of this microphone? Can it be hidden through the headliner to where the OEM microphone would go?

After a painfull lack of stock, we have just recieved another batch of these.
Half have been pre ordered & the rest are going fast.
If you want one, I would advise ordering ASAP

Which one should I order for a US non HK stereo (Wave or Boost)?

I pick up my new 06 MINI today, and want this feature!

Got my Parrot EVO bluetooth kit today (Took exactly 1 week to ship all the way to California). Installation was very simple, and only took me about 45 minutes!

The kit works great with my Moto v600, Thanks Mikey!

i have an 05 MCS and it came with a mic built in on the headliner next to my sunroof button, is there anyway this would be able to tap into that mic so that there doesnt have to be one sitting out?

I don't think that is a mic, but rather the location for the security system's ultrasonic sensor.

The ultrasonic sensor goes into a little hump that is in the headliner above and near the rear seats (behind the sun roof if you have one). The thingy at the front by the sunroof / map light buttons is a microphone location, from what I've been able to gather.

No news on this Mike?
Is there a reason you have no more the connection to the nokia 7w with MFSW?
