iPod & Denison Ice Link.....

A winning combination.

I know that a lot of folk ask what is the best way to add an iPod, well, read on;

This weekend i have hard wired my Tom Tom and fitted my iPod beneath the dash for added security, So the only time i need to remove the pod is to update it.

Tonight i have gone through every song on the pod and tweaked the equaliser settings, tried it in the mini with the HK setting on and driver off...Wow what a difference, the Hip-Hop and Electronic now have a real nice crisp bass line, the rock has a lot of vocal and clear drum and strings whilst the pop....well is pop .

Whilst i was playing i found out how to pick any artist, album, genre ect from the headset. (im not talking playlists, they are all set up already), what i am saying is that i have got 100% control of the pod from the headset.

I have also upped the gain on the headset from 1v to 4v, this will make the system louder than stock.

I very much doubt that i could do this with any other iPod connector, if i am wrong then please let me know

If you are looking for a connector for your pod then look no further that the Denison Ice Link +...i got mine direct from www.newministuff.com Great service.

Eer you niked my son.......

Couldn't agree more.

FYI, if you have a NAV, remember that Text will is not a great option as it will interfere with the map. Other than that, it is a great unit.

Well, I am not Billy Smart, but I can help.

I have an 06 with HK (US Boost). The Icelink Plus will display text on an 04 or later HU. However, if you have NAV, it is not a good idea to turn the text on. If you do, it will work, but it will override your NAV as I stated above. Looking at the specs of your car, it should work.
