Offline | Was watching a Cooper S full leather interior on ebay last night - finished at £460. Also, someone else I know bought a similar set off ebay for £450 so it appears that is about the going rate. Only resisted bidding because I've just shelled out for the Bluefin engine map upgrade. I think it is real leather. Don't know the full ins and outs of fitting, airbags, etc. Anyone? |

Offline | Full leather or half leather? If half leather £300 or £450 for full leather. As for the airbag aspect, just make sure you keep you keys in your pockets until the seats have been fully changed over. ![]() |

Offline | I've done this swap myself. Simply swap the seats over and use the new airbags, this is not a problem. HOWEVER, TO AVOID ANY PROBLEMS AT ALL, MAKE SURE YOU DISCONNECT THE NEGATIVE TERMINAL ON THE BATTERY BEFORE YOU DISCONNECT THE PLUG FOR THE AIRBAGS (UNDER EACH FRONT SEAT, AT THE FRONT EDGE). RECONNECT THE NEGATIVE TERMINAL ONLY WHEN THE NEW SEATS ARE IN PLACE AND THE TERMINAL CONNECTIONS HAVE BEEN RECONNECTED. This should ensure that no airbag warning lights are triggered or, worst of all, an airbag is not deployed unintentionally Tigger. ![]() Unintimated and I'm back!! ![]() For sunshine, fun and Cornish Pasties: New MINI Kernow Cornish Oggy Run 2009!
