Following on from a request by Sibradbury in the Extra TomTom Voices Thread, Ive unearthed a Great Website that lets you Change the Colour Schemes of the Maps on whatever Model of TomTom you have .
If you thought the ones that came with it were enough for anyone, then you might think again after you`ve seen what can be done.

The ones that came as standard on my TomTom Mobile are :-

America
Antarctica
Africa
Astra
Australia
Belgica
Brittanica
Deuteranopia
Germanica
Greys

The Colour Scheme Editor enables anyone to easily alter the look of their TomTom to suit their Car Colour, Instumentation or maybe simply their Mood

{Although the website primarily mentions TomTom Navigator {PDA`s} & the Go model, I see no reason why it cant be applied to any TomTom Model, & I had No trouble whatsoever inserting New Colour Schemes onto my TomTom Mobile 5}

There`s around 60 Map Component Variables that you can set to be any Colour you wish

Here are a few pics of backgrounds which I thought were pretty good or I have made. The first night one is called VW as it goes perfect with the red and blue lights on the interior.

Thanks Restyle! Sadly my Mac won't allow me to design my own colour scheme but i can downlaod ones from the site itself (altho i haven't attempted it yet)

How well does the Rover 75 scheme I mentioned on the Voices thread fit in with the mini illumination?

It seems to work quite well actually & Complements the Interior Instrumentation

I`ve also attached the "Rover 75 Night" File (as a .txt File) for anyone who wants to add it.
To use it, remember to change the .txt to a .clr before transferring to your "schemes" Folder
