Offline | Did you see the BMW photos of their mounting? It's attached to the lip of the binnacle just above the speedo, and the Ipaq sits sideways. The BMW photos showed cables coming from behind the speedo. Looks good - yours I mean. What does it cost to run GPS? What software do you use? Does it give you access to local info such as restaurants, petrol stations, etc? Regards, ElTel |

| MINI2 Senior | Yes I did see the pictures I'm very curious about the Sw it runs. There are NO service-costs at all using GPS. Local info is included in my system, but since it is included in the maps you use (and the software itself) most GPS-systems have local info(POI,...) For detailed info about my system please go to: http://www.alturion.com/products/gps...paq/index.html BeNelux maps comes standard with the system, but additional countries can be bought. If youy're interested I advise you to consult you regional Compaq-website, most of the times they have local versions. Or if you're interested in Alturion contact them, they are very fast in there response even on sundays! They even have an automatic updates for the software. Offline | Mounting Hey eltel, Where did see this BMW mounting kit? Do you have the URL for this? I am not a huge fan of the suction so if there is another way to mount the GPS/iPaq unit, I want to go down that route. Please let me know. Thanks.
