Basically I just got my cooper s 2nd hand and the previous owner fitted an aftermarket (sony) head unit. I have swapped that one for a panasonic unit.

I am wanting to buy a power take off kit with 2 cigarette plugs from newministuff but I need to know if it is wave or boost to get the right one?

Anyone know which I have (being an aftermerket HU) or how to find out by looking at it?

Neither, the wave and boost are different MINI supplied head units, you've got a Sony.

No. Not sure if Mikey (newministuff) does take off kits for aftermarket head units. Maybe send him a private message here, or email him via his site.
