Hi,

I currently have a Sony CD player head unit, this is not installed on my Mini. The mini is an early 02, i was wondering, seeing as though BMW sell sony head units, would i have to get an exntension to put this in place of my current head unit or would it effectively be plug and play?

All you need is an adaptor to fit an aftermarket head unit, wiring harness adaptor, and aerial adaptor. There's 2 kits: 1 for Boost and 1 for Wave, depending on what you've got at the moment. You can get this stuff as a simple kit.
