| Man in the know! | Got my new travel cooler today...seems pretty...well....err cool. It is a 6l unit that happily sits in the MINI's boot (i even managed to use the metal hooks on the boot floor to secure it). I reckon you will get 7/8 cans in there or 4 cans and alot of grub. It will take up to 2 hours to reach optimum temp..which is 15degs below ambient temperature. We will see how good it is at MITP where i will be camping over with skinny and having beer and BBQ in the evening...ahhh i love the summer. ![]() |

| MINI2 Master | Re: Mintys Travel Cooler We borrrowed one about twice that size for our trip to the cottage. If you start off with a small ice-pak, or even a few of the cans pre-chilled, then the cooler gets cold immediately, and stays cold. They're really quite neat, and in the boot you can't even hear the thing over the exhaust (of the S). ...and to think, I thought the power jack in the boot was silly. Chilli Red/White Cooper S, Sport Pack & Sunroof. Delivered June 12th, 2002!Now with MCS Winter Tire Package. |

Offline | Cool Minty, that is so, er , COOL I love the look and it's size is great, not too small or big. I would really love to get one for my boat, so could you say how much and where I could get one please. I am also interested as to how many watts it draws. It's just right for my needs. Cheers ![]() Last edited by MiNiGuY : Jul 30th, 2002 at 11:53 AM. |

| Man in the know! | i should be able to get them for under £30, i guess about £27, but i will confirm it at work tomorrow. It is a Ring Automotive Travel Cooler, part number RC89100. I get them at a good price through work. Power consumption is 3 amps (approx 36 watts) at 12 volts |
