Offline | Installed Harman/Kardon Plug + Play Just thought i would share my above install with you all: Bought the plug + play due to the simplicity of using it with my IPOD and the funky design. Was quite easy to fit for a novice, works and sounds very very well too, so can't complain. Bellow are some sketchy pictures from my phone of the kit: All the best Checkie ![]() Checkmate mad owner |

Offline | Checkie, How did you connect the audio into your deck? I've been #^%*#@#$ with mine for 4 days now and can't get it to work. I'm trying to plug into the aux in of the stereo and the stereo doesn't acknowledge there is any signal? If I plug headphones into the HK output, I can hear the ipod so I know it has something. Any thoughts? Matt |

Offline | Hi Matt I know the issue you are having quite well. I actually cheated in the end with my kit, my dealer had fitted a aux input in my glovebox for me when i bought the car. So i hooked up the Harman/Kardon through that to make life easier. I then tucked the 3.5mm cable up through the top of the stereo so it's out of site and into the box under the steering wheel. My only other option would have been tosee if mikey or such like had a way of converting the mini aerial conector into the one supplied into the box (euro i think it says in the book). Then i could have connected it through the FM option. Hope this helps. Chris Checkmate mad owner |

Offline | Matt, Did you solve the fitting problem you had? I've just come across the same problem (why the HK doesn't have audio in I'll never know) and I wondered if you could offer any tips? My only other option is to try Halfords (as they sell the drive and play) and will hopefully be able to sell me the right adapter! Cheers, Jonathan Completely MINI/Mini Mad!!! |
