Green Cooper Audio - Where To Put It All?

I will be replacing my stock HU with an Alpine 9857, but I also will be installing the Terk XM unit, Alpine adapter, and the PAC-ALP MFSW control. These forums have been great for replacing the HU, but where and how do I mount everything else?

The compartment in the boot where the CD changer goes is perfect for the XM stuff, but alas, the supplied cables are too short.

I also learned from this forum about a cubby below the passenger seat under the carpet. I've not checked it out, but I'm a bit apprehensive about drilling holes in the floorboard (water leaks, etc.)

What has everyone else done? Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Depends how big the things are - most are pretty small.
You'll be able to make the PAC disappear behind the HU.

I "installed" a (relatively) huge Sirius adaptor under the carpet in the passenger footwell, as close to the engine as you can get - basically I just peeled down the carpet there, chucked the unit in and pushed the carpet back!
Unless you have passengers with really long legs that push them right forward, the stuff won't get kicked through the carpet.

I bet your units are smaller and will disappear there easily.

Thanks. That works for me. And it even cuts the installation time in half.
