Songs for H/K

I should be picking my mini up next week. What songs would people recommend to try on the H/K system to give it a full work out?

The Doobie Brothers Sibling Rivalry (released in 2000)makes a good starter.

I actually listed this album as a good demo on my H/K Review/Tutorial page.

Mike Oldfields Tubular Bells 2003, the SACD remastered version of Pink Floyd Dark Side of the Moon

Oh.. the latest Mike Oldfield CD "Light and Shade"; stick on the Shade CD and let her rip, really shows it off fantastically.

how do you plan to play an SACD in the CD player of the car? It may play, but it will just be playing the CD layer, not the SACD layer.....

Was waiting for someone to ask that .

SACD is like a DVD - it has a conventional CD layer, and then the SACD layer underneith it. You won't get full SACD quality from it obviously, but you do get the full remastered CD which sounds fantastic.

Anything that doesn't push it to hard. Nah j/k

It's a decent system but it can be a little of the harsh side when playing rock, guitar, thrash, instrumental music.

Bass is decent though coming from just 6*9s. I'd go with something bassy.
