Hi

I am about to buy a Mini Cooper with no aircon and would like to know if it's possible to get aircon installed. If so, how much would it cost and who would do it?

Any advice would be appreciated

My advice is to buy a MINI with factory air.

As Robert said there are plenty out there to chose from I wouldn't even consider trying to fit OEM air con. You will probably find your dash board rattling all over the place if a BMW dealer trys to fit it!!!!!

Not to mention that large cost that would be associated with the fitting.

I remember asking my local Mini dealer the air con question once. They said that it would cost approx £1500 to fit manual air con, which is over double what it would cost you to spec it from new. The problem as always, is BMW's labour rate.
