Harman Kardon

Hi i know its a long shot but could anyone tell me the part numbers for the Harman Kardon speakers ... pleeease thinking of buying these second hand but am not 100% sure they are the right ones as they are out a BMW, cheers

The harmon hardon system isn't just speakers...it's a new amp, and different settings on the headunit etc.

He's right, the speakers alone would basically be a waste of money.

If you want to upgrade the speakers on a standard WAVE or BOOST head unit you are better off going aftermarket.

yeh i understand but i already have a new head unit and amp fitted ( after market ) and was going to replace the orig speakers too ( poss rainbow speakers) but as these were going cheap thoght these might do instead ( if they were the right size that is )

HK speakers are 2 ohm - your amp might or might not be able to drive them.

HK front speakers have no crossover (it's built in to the HK amp) so you'd have to make your own.

HK rear speakers are dual voice coil (2 ohms x 2 coils each) so in parallel that's 1 ohm for your amp to drive (no way) and in series 4 ohms (OK if the amp is powerful enough).

Thanks GBMINI , i will have a look but think it may be easyer to stick with the aftermarket speakers by the sound of it then, thanks again for the help and info,
