I took mine in here in Germany and they did it for free. Best jusst to ask them and tell them that the voice stopped working.Recoding is not that big of a deal and takes about 10 min.

Yeah, don't tell them what you did. Perhaps install v26 so it doesn't look like a really recent version, then just play innocent.

Good news its all sorted. I downloaded V26 and loaded it into my Nav, rebooted and the voices have come back on. I then loaded V28 on as an upgrade just as you said and hey presto the voices stayed on and I have got the 3D screen and everything else just as i wanted.

A big THANKS to G-MAN, FLAKEMEISTER & S33BBY for your help throughout this problem.
