Handsfree Kit: Parrot or Alpine?

I'm about to cough up for a bluetooth handsfree kit for my car and was set on a Parrot one until I realised Alpine now make one (KCA-B200T) to connect to my Alpine headunit.

I've read tons of good stuff about the Parrot kit but wondered if anyone had any experience with Alpines offering?

Not tried the Alpine yet - the headunit ones I have tried;
Clarion - not great
Panasonic - waste of space
Kenwood - good

Pioneer ?
Alpine ?

PS I know the Parrot Evo is a cheaper option (the Alpine is available for around £100) but I like the thought of having a genuine Alpine add-on.

Just found this which may answer my question:

Unless anyone has had better experience with the Alpine?

I've got the Motorolla voice recognition hands free kit. I've got an alpine head unit..... the two work well together, the radio is interrupted (mute) each time a call comes in or out. Fairly easy install, good quality product.
The voice recog is a bit sketchy when there is road noise or wind noise (window down), but all in all it is a good product.

I had a all Alpine system installed with the KCA 100BT Blue Tooth, I had terrible problems with it, in fact the place that installed the system has stopped installing the Alpine Blue- Tooth, apparently I was not alone with the problems. They recommended the Parrot and it has been working beautifully. The Parrot does work (mute the ipod ETC) with my system when in use.

BTW The installer has also stopped using Panasonic due to similar problems.
