Question Where's the clock?

I know I should do a search but if anyone could tell me I'd be grateful?

Thanks
Mo

Do GP's have a clock? Too heavy I'd have thought

Try pushing the reset button for the trip computer on the speedo (big circle in the middle of the dash )

Only a few months.

You have to press the reset button to get the clock? Seems strange.

They should never have removed the overhead clock they used to fit.

Frankly Mo, I'm disappointed!

How can you not have known that is where the clock is?

(Agree with you on the overhead clock though! )

Biggest mistake ever was removing the pod clock from the ceiling. I'd be lost without mine.

what new ones don't have the clock in the ceiling????

Gutting, i love mine up there, it reminds me of the youth and having the clock at the top in my old mk2 XR2 Fiesta.

Surely they cn be retrofitted though as i think they only have a earth, pos and ignition feed.

The theory is sound, but almost all post-facelift 1st Generation cars have front map-reading lights where the clock used to be, so there would be nowhere to put it.

Not easy to see when you're on the go.

It seems like it was an after thought fitting it to the speedo.

How do you adjust it though?

Mines still an hour behind .........or would it be easier to wait until the 25th March for it to be correct again.

It's been wrong since October, so I doubt another 6 weeks will kill you!

(Still amazed how many dealers don't show customers how to do this on handovers though! )

Only if you promise to stop picking holes in my posts!

1) Push and Hold the trip reset button until 24HR shows on the display
2) Tap button (changing from 24HR to 12HR) then stop when it is on your preferred type
3) Wait until display changes to the hour
4) Tap button to change the hour (you can only go forwards) then stop when it's correct
5) Wait until display changes to the minutes
6) Repeat 4
7) Wait until display shows full time (at this point the dots between hours and minutes will be flashing)
8) Press button again to 'store' correct time

Easy when you know how!
