Parrot 'Un-mute' problems

I've had my Parrot CK3100 for about 6 months now and I've just started having problems with it.
My Alpine head unit is not unmuting after calls anymore. I have to go to the settings menu on the Parrot kit and disconnected my phone for the head unit to come back on. Anyone experienced this before?
Mikey?

Never had this on a Parrot before - older Nokias did suffer this. Would think it can only be the parrot

I'm using a Nokia N73 which I now know is problematic with the Parrot kits. (Search for 'echo' , 'parrot' and 'N73' and you'll see why!) The Parrot kit was used so i'm not sure how old it is.

I've struggled to drive my car upstairs to the computer and even if I could won't fit in the office

Is it possible to bluetooth the firmware upgrade file to my phone and then send it to my car that way?

I don't have a laptop but maybe a 50 metre extension cable is an option.....
