Quick Query...

I was hoping to sell my old ICE equipment removed from my last car and replace it with some top notch ICE. I was thinking along the lines of RE Audio, JL Audio, Rainbow etc. However, I have come to the conclusion that I just cannot afford to go this far, so want to stick with what I have got...

However, I got rid of the HU a while ago, left the speakers in the old car when I sold it so I only have a sub and an amp. This is probably one for Mikey but I am wondering if its possible drive the amplifier (which will obviously in turn drive the sub) from my standard MINI BOOST HU? I dont want the hassle of replacing the HU with an aftermarket and would like to keep my MINI looking standard if possible.

In addition to this I would be curious to know if anyone has already ran this kind of setup with the standard front component speakers supplied with the car and if the speakers are up to the job of running alongside a sub? As I am not exactly flowing money i would like to avouid replacing these you see

As you can probably tell, all in all I would just like to run and amplify my existing sub without spending much money!

Just to add, I have a CD changer running also (standard fit) and my MINI is an R50 02 Cooper
