stripping threads

hi,

last night, as i was fitting my head unit, i was annoyed to find that two expanding nuts to which you screw the radio in had stripped and lost their thread, they just keep spinning around and will not tighten..does anyone know the part number of these OR where i could grab a couple from? if you look at the pics u will see what exactly im talking about...any response would be appreciated

If you look at RealOEM.com Online BMW Parts Catalog under audio/boost radio you will see the part # for those items. They are called expansion nuts and are very cheap.

i did exactly that, and using those part no's i ordered them..however my original ones are white and bigger, whereas the ones off the parts are black and slightly smaller and do fit..should i just keep these?
