I have one but don't have a video of it in action, however there's a video on
YOUTUBE, it's about minute into the video

the device takes about an hour to fit, therefore this will vary according to your dealer's labour hourly rate...

United-Kingdom

Both Greem Lights Come On And One Starts To Flash Around 3800 Revs

Although You Will Have To Get Close To 7700 Revs For All Light Sto Be On And Flashing.

I prefer the rev counter and the noise of the engine and torque delivery to dictate when to change gear. I can't really see what benefit the Shift-Indicator would provide, unless it pinpoints the EXACT ECU response to power drop off, but then again, driving should remain natural, if you are relying on a gizmo to tell you when to change gear then questions need to be asked.

However, if you are just after a gimmick, then i guess this is a good one.

Just my opinion. (I know people have been crying on MINI2 recently from words less harsh than mine )

Cheers,
K.

I've seen a different install location too, which is not on top of the dash. It looks like it was put in between the dash and the speedometer ring.

You can see it at around the 30 second mark, as he's chasing the GP.

just had it fitted!!!! WAT A FUN TOY!!! lol. its mint!
would recommend it, its just so fun.

although saying that i was a little disappointed with the fitting of it! it took them ages to do! (bored) and they charged me £200. on top of this they didn't put my dash back together properly so i had to do that myself and they left cuttings off the dash all over the front of the car, not particularly great but the actual shift light is mint... thank god!

anyone else ordered one?
