I installed a DICE unit into my x5 and now I have a 6 Disc Changer needing a home. If there a chance my 2006 MCS would be able to take it? Not sure if they use the same changers.

Yes they're the same. In fact pretty much all BMW, MINI and Land Rover changers are compatable with each other.
