United-Kingdom Alpine Head Unit problem

I have just installed the new Alpine XDA-001 Digital Media Receiver and the 300BT Bluetooth adaptor.

When i go to make a call using the bluetooth there is no dialing tone and i cannot hear anyone on the other end although the headunit says it is calling.

Does anyone have any thoughts?

Chris

What type of phone do you have? Sounds like a pairing issue.

Pairing issue for sure.
Check the instruction manual and your phone.

It should have "handsfree" settings, usually under connectivity.
Setup your car there.

Managed to sort it out, there was a setting on the Headunit.

I will post pics in the next few days...
