Offline | OK bluetooth details Once paired with the phone, the stereo must be in cd changer mode (ipod) to operate the phone from the stereo. If you are in changer mode on the stereo, by using the stereo buttons you can activate voice dial or redial. to end the call you press track down on the stereo or MFSW To answer a call (if in changer mode) The phone will ring, the ipod will pause & the number of the person calling you will appear on the radio. You press track up on stereo or mfsw to answer it & down to end or cancel. If you are not in changer mode - i.e. listening to radio, then when your phone rings you need to select cd changer mode to allow control from stereo then press track up It does not use the phone buttons on the wheel. You need a text capable stereo to use this & no factory nav It is not as good as the fully integrated parrot kit that uses all the mfsw but at Ģ45 (on top of the gateway 100) it is a cheap way to add bluetooth & get some mfsw control & caller id. If you are ordering online let me know your exact spec & I will upload the latest firmware & relevent text software for you |

Offline | I think it was a case of only showing the first 5 playlists in alphabetical order - so you could, for example, have them start with numbers - 1-Keane 2-Cold Play .....etc,etc Maybe the software changed after I got it later tho..... Texy |

Offline | Does the Gateway 100 now supercede the Gateway 400? I have August 2005 Standard Wave Cassette Player with Standard BMW CD Changer - will this work on mine just minus the titles? Thanks ![]() |

Offline | No - The 100 is a lower spec version - the 400 has usb port as well, so you can put music on a portable hard drive or usb stick and connect it up. The 400 is just a 300 supplied with the cd changer retention cable, meaning you can source the changer, ipod or usb devices. You can purchase the retention kit seperately for the 100. If you don't think you'll usde the usb port then just get the 100. Texy |

Offline | Thanks matey. Not that bothered about USB to be honest, i'm more interested in the blue tooth, especially as I have 2 spoke MFSW as well. Think this may be the next mod! ![]() |

Offline | Yes! Works ok, but what I don't like is the fact that only the telephone number is displayed on the HU - I would of prefered that the phones contact list is used and a name appear. What I didn't get an answer to, either from this forum, or dension themselves, is if this is a limitation of the technology, my particular phone, or the dension GW 300. Apart from that it works very well, although lots of echo is heard I am told. Texy |

Offline | Your not far off - support is very hit and miss! They told me last week that new firmware is due this week, so lets see what happens. One thing I,m also trying to improve is the output level of the dension unit as its fairly quiet compared to the radio sound level. They sent me some config files, but I can't tell any difference between -6dB and +6dB's ![]() Texy |
