Ignoring the centre dash console and steering wheel, I think its a pretty good looking dash. Relocation of the sitched to in front of the gear stick is pretty cool, as well as the cream and blue leather. Not having the two down tubes makes it look like a larger cabin, and the way its been finished off looks very good.

I would have personally gone with a 7" touch screen to fill the blank instead of a normal head unit. Otherwise, pretty cool.

Is it a 56 or 53? Seems a lot of work to do on a 53...but i am assuming its base model was 56

it is a r53 MCS due to the location of the glove box and the climate control's also if you look at the wheel you can see the ignition system is the R53 type rather than the key fob on the R56

I think it looks a terrible mess, but it's different and must have taken a great deal of time and effort.

Hugely impressed at what has been done, but not to my taste. I like the big brake kit in blue though

I heard that we'd have flying cars by the year 2000. Remember that?
Huh?
But here we are and there's no flying cars. What the heck happened?

At least this fellow is trying to make it look like the interior of a flying car.

Safety fast,
Bill

Is that a SatNav screen in the middle of the steering wheel? If so, that's a good idea!

The guy must have had SatNav, as he has both a mini speedo, and a rev counter of the same proportion. If he had a Chrono pack, we'd see it along with the gauges behind the black tinted screen. I'd imagine the Satnav screen is still there in the middle, and it's controls are under that black drop down cover in the bottom left of that area. The screen on the steering wheel is most likely a rear view camera.

No idea what he's put in the areas above the steering wheel where you'd normally have the speedo & tach, but I'd imagine they're digital gauges of some sort.
