I have a problem with one of my buttons on my 02 climate control panel.I have found a 05 climate panel at a good price and wounderd if it will work as they have changed the buttons slightly.

From memory, I think no.
The connector on the back of the ambient air temperature sensor is different.
The change was of supplier from Valeo to Behr/Hella and the desdign changed quite a lot.

I agree with Chris - think it was 04/2004 that the changeover date was - though not 100%.
