HI I know i am a newbie but i have a question,

Has anyone tried or atempted to change the color of there guage faces in a mcs 02. I cant stand the factory color anymore. And i think blue would fit my car better.
I think it would just be a matter of ripping open the stock unit unsoldering the red led's and soldering blue or any other color you want but i want to see if anyone has tried. Also does any one on either side of the ocean know where i can get a used set of guages to try this on that way i dont mess up mine and i can post instructions for anyone else to try it. Let me know happy mini'ing

I got my dash lighting changed to blue too and kept the needles orange .. PM sent with more info on where I got this changed in the UK - it IS also possible to change the colour of the needles too!!

Have now had the needles updated to blue too .. looks FAB! 8)

How did you get different colured needles? As the plastic is an orange colour

Si at EssentialMini . co. uk does LED conversions, complete with change of needles etc..

If you don't have auto aircon, then you won't be able to change the colour of the heater control panel. Something to bear in mind.

I know this is a matter of taste, but if someone put a blue LED in my car I'd want some serious compensation!
