| MINI2 Master | Impossible head unit wishlist? Hi I've done some searching and been unable to find anything that totally fits my requiremtns list: Amber illumination for buttons and display, with close match for colour and font. Bluetooth phone integration. Rear-mounted USB socket for MP3 playback from memory stick (will mount external socket on underside of dash). Would accept iPod integration instead. DAB radio (could forego this) Does anyone know of such a beast? In terms in styling, think Becker instead of Alpine. Fussy, me? Oli |

Offline | I've got the JVC AVX33 this is capable of all of the above, minus the amber lights... However i read the other day about a model with the same features but with a red/amber backlight! This might be what your looking for? I think it was called the ADV38 (branded as the arsenal headunit?) I think this was actually a american release that has expanded now the the uk as its been out quite a while now. |

| MINI2 Master | Hi there I've taken a look at the unit you have and it's pretty good. However, I can't find the ADV38 or Arsenal on any UK web site. As Roy Walker says on Catchphrase, it's good, but it's not right! The finish is shiny and it has far too many logos on it. I mean -- I *know* it's got Bluetooth and can play DVDs. Why do I need logos reminding me? Fussy, me? Oli |

Offline | Well, i dont know about the styling you like, but this beast seems pretty cool and its the one im getting tomorro hopefully... Its the alpine CDA-9855R, and it has everything except for DAB, but it also has 512 different colour options, so im pretty sure the amber your looking for is in there... That would be my choice if i were you, but im not so i hope it helps anyway.... ![]() |
