seat removal, radio code

Hi all, i purchased some new seats the other day and am just about to fit them, when i disconnect the battery will i need the radio code when i re-connect it? if so where will i find it?
i have the standard tape player at the moment..
ta adam.

you don;t have to disconnect the battery to remove the seats. just dont put the key anywhere near the ignitions then theres no danger of the air bag light coming on. Had mine out this week and 3 other occasions - all is well

First, I don't recommend you mess with any airbag components with the battery connected. You could easily set one off.

As for the radio, you can disconnect the battery and the radio will not need a code to come back on. The code message comes up only when you have a bad connection on the IBUS. As long as all your connections are good, you will have no problems.
