Hi, I am a new user and I need some help, please.

I'm selling a two spoke leather steering wheel (complete with airbag module -- is the steering that comes with Cooper S R56) from my R56 Cooper, because I have swapped to 3 spoke wheel.

Some users one ebay are sending me request about this issue.

Do you know if is possible to install this R56 steering wheel on R50/R53 models?

My BMW dealer here in Rome says that probably is possible, but he should check the right model year and accessories installed...

Not possible, airbag on R50 is twin stage with 2 ignitors, R56 is single stage with just 1.
Different connectors.

thanks for the detailed info Chris.

I suppose that is impossible to modify these connectors to adapt them, isn't it?
