Replacing downtubes, dash etc

Currently got a MINI Cooper with Anthracite (which I love) but am looking at buying a second-hand Cooper S - now I'm obviously not gonna be able to get the same spec as my current car with regards to trims etc but if I get one with trim that I dont like can I change things like downtubes, dash door inner panelling etc. If so where can you purchase them from?

Hi Greencode....

If you can source the trims, the dash panels and downtubes can be replaced easily.

The eliptical door rings are heat bonded onto the door cards, so you'll to try and source a whole door card - be warned new cards are VERY expensive

Or you could go down the route of having the dash sprayed body colour - this can look very smart

Try a few scrap yards! Or minimatt.co.uk seems to trade in second hand parts
