How old is your MINI? If 3 years or less get it down the dealership for warranty repair , optherwise, get it down the dealership for non-warranty repair I'd not use eBay to fix a problem that I dont yet know the cause for

i was after that switch on ebay!!!!

assuming the seller sold a working mirror switch it sounds like your problem is further down the line with the wiring maybe.

still have to agree with soggy corn flakes!! see the dealer.

james
ps if its not the switch and youve got 2 that work, let me know ; )

the fact that both mirrors are not working would suggest either the switch ( which you have proved it is not ) or a fuse.

your wiring is shorting when you adjust your left mirror hence the blown fuse

Could be a dodgy left motor or a wiring short causing the fuse to blow. Might be cheaper to source a new mirror unit on eBay
