Does anybody know the name of the soft self-adhesive tape that car manufacturers wind around bundles of cables? It's like self-adhesive felt, but in a tape form rather than sheets.

I used self-adhesive felt sheets for my last stereo installation, but would like to do a proper job and avoid rattles while making it look professional.

Does anyone know where in the UK I can buy this stuff?

Ping Mikey -- it'd be good if you could sell this stuff on your site. That is unless it's a trade secret, or there's something even better that you use instead.

I picked up a roll of the stuff MINI have in their parts department, but its no longer covered in felt. Its more just like cloth. I bought some rolls of the fluffy side of velcro tape this weekend from my local DIY shop. Was very cheap and that would do the job.
