Offline | Unlock Button: Hidden Powers!! So today I'm sat in a car park just asking some of my friends if they're about to go so I can pinch their spot - as I reversed and waited I decided to put the window back up, and without looking I accidentally held the 'unlock' button up as opposed to the window, and alas it does the same as the unlock button on my key fob - the sunroof and windows went down!! I didn't know this button was capable of this, shame they didn't make it so that it did it back up too, as I know they didn't put it on the key fob incase of decapitation (seriously!!). So did anyone else know this or did I make a new discovery? ![]() ![]() |

![]() Settled.. | i remember finding this out when I was in traffic in my (new at the time) 53 plate MINI Cooper. i was bored, so, as you do, I switched all the switches & played with all the gizmos & stumbled accross that function! Its really good for the hotter days & you want some wind in your hair! ![]() |

Offline | I remember finding out about the key fob button doing that, and how amazed my friend was when I told him about it, and when he tried it on his 5 series it also worked! Gonna have to try that on my car next time I'm out... I wonder if the 5 series has a similar button? ![]() |

Offline | If you want to close your windows and your roof together, LOCK the door with your key when you exit but keep the key in the lock position and windows and roof will close. But you must keep key held in the lock position untill they are all secure. All WORKED up. |

Offline | If you accidentally sit on the unlock button, worst case scenario you may get wet seats if it's raining - if you sit on the lock button, worst case scenario you'll decapitate or de-limb anyone/anything poking it's/his/her head/limb out the window ![]() ![]() |
