Hi guys just wondered if any one can help.

Im trying to put a standard headunit back into the mini and have come accross a bit of a snag

The current broken headunit is an after market fitment and the aerial lead has been cut and a universal plug fitted so now the aerial connector will no longer fit the standard unit.

Can i get an adaptor that will push onto the male aerial plug and have the bmw fitment on the other end so i can connect it or an i looking at installing a complete new cable from the roof aerial?

Why the previous owner didnt use an adaptor i will never know

Just had a thought.

I could buy a new lead cut the end I want and attached a universal socket to connect to the fitted plug.

Feels like a bit of a bodge job though.
